NPGS is pleased to announce that one of our members, Alan Casement, has offered to be our Lapidary Director. Alan allows members to use his lapidary equipment, and offers tutorials/instruction on how to the use the equipment.
As seen in the picture, lapidary allows members to take a rough stone and make something beautiful.
Hours are Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday:
Mornings are from 10 am to 2pm
Afternoons are from 3 pm to 7 pm
Allan also offers open availability with appointment request by either email or text message

About Lapidary Equipment
Currently, Alan’s workshop has the following equipment:
- Cab King 6 inch Polisher with trim saw attachment
- High-tech Diamond 8inch Slant Cabber
- Heavy Duty Drill Press now with Polishing Wheel Set up
Lapidary Fees
- Cab King: $20.00 for 4 hours
- Slant Cabber: $20.00 for 4 hours
- Trim Saw: $5.00 per Cut
- Slant Cabber: $15.00 for 4 hours
- Drill press: $15.00 for 4 hours (Includes drilling capabilities to make jewlery)
