Monthly Meetings

Interested in seeing what we are about before joining the club? Come out to one of our monthly meetings and check us out!

For most meetings, we have interesting presenters speak to us about geology related topics, hold silent auctions, and have snacks (lots of snacks). More importantly, bring your favourite rock, mineral, or fossil and meet like minded people. The start of every meeting begins with socializing and sharing tales of our latest rock hounding experiences.

Our meetings are family friendly. We will have a children’s activity. Please feel free to bring your younger geology enthusiasts along with you to a meeting!

NPGS Meetings are usually held on the third Friday of each month from 7:30 to 9:30 pm – September through May.

Christmas potluck and Rock Roulette.

**Rock Roulette is a game we play where everyone brings a rock or mineral (~$15 value). All participants exchange presents during the game. The board always brings extra gifts, so please don’t let finances be a barrier.
