Make a Difference in Your Community

At NPGS, we are working diligently to build our resources in efforts to make the hobby and interest of geology more accessible to as many people as possible. As part of this mission, we are attempting to build up our equipment loan program.

We would also like to build a supply of field trip equipment (high visibility vests, hard hats, rock hammers etc.) that our members can borrow to use in the field. This would allow those new to field trips the chance to try being in the field at a lower cost.

Your donation helps us continue our mission to inspire, empower, and engage individuals of all ages. Whether it’s funding events, providing resources, or expanding outreach, every dollar you give brings us one step closer to a stronger, more connected community.

Ways to Give:

 A helpful way to support our club is through donating old rock, mineral, fossil collections, lapidary equipment or rock hounding tools. Often, we are able to use physical donations for giveaways at events or when doing talks/demonstrations. We also use samples in club auctions.

 Additionally, materials can be auctioned off to our club. This allows new collectors and younger members obtain specimens for a lower price. We can then use proceeds to support other events.

 If you have any ideas or tips on cool places to rock hound, that is a free and helpful way to help the club.
